HELP!

I am in need of a quick fix. OK, Here I am trying to be all "blogger like" and follow in the footsteps of all of my muses out there. My first project was going to be creating a photo wall. Yesterday, I installed a shelf. Well, it is sagging forward. Does anyone out there have a fix to this? I was thinking maybe velcro down the back? Thanks so much!

  1. Is the wall crooked and that is why there is a gap? Maybe a photo would help.

  2. It is actually leaning forward a little bit. I put velcro on the back and it has seemed to help a little. Once I have a day free from little ones needing me ONLY when I am doing a project, I will probably reinstall. sigh.

  3. Go to Home Depot or Lowes and get those wall anchors {they are white} that come in a plastic box with screws. They screw into the drywall with a screw driver and work great. I use them on my decorating jobs. It sounds like you didn't hit a stud so the wall is not holding the weight of the shelf.

  4. I also wedged a couple layers of velcro under my shelf to sort of "shim" it to the wall. Good luck and I love the pics!
